The last match in the pool pitted Field against New Milton Two. This was a close match with intense, solid tacking from van Lan and Duggan and a hard, try-saving tackle from Siggers which provided Kis the opportunity to run the length of the pitch to score. In the second half prolific scorer Chinnock bagged one more before a good pass from Kis provided Anderson the chance to finish with another try. The match finished 3-3 and put Field into the final.
The final, against Fordingbridge, saw another wonderful team effort from Field, with huge tackles and selfless passing from all. Hill had a good run to score, Anderson and van Laun added to their tally and Kis dragged a couple of players down the pitch to score his second of the match. It wasn’t enough though and the team were pipped at the post, final score 5-6.
