Liss v Old Tauntonians & Romsey III

LISS batted first and, as usual, got off to a quick start with boundaries from Kemp.

Kemp was dismissed for 23 and then two wickets in one over from Slade left Liss 37-3 after ten overs.

Pearce joined Pleace junior and looked to settle things down. Both batsmen found their feet and knocked the ball around nicely.

At the halfway point the home side had reached 93-3 and Pleace junior soon went past his half-century....
