PREMIER League side Stoke City are set to swoop on one of Petersfield Town's top players of the season.

Youngster Ed Dryden, who has been an instant success since bursting into the first team during this campaign, is heading to the Potteries for a week's trial.

The Premier League club's scouts have been watching the 18-year-old for the last two months and they were among the 200-strong crowd on Saturday watching Dryden in action for the Rams against Winchester City.

They would have liked what they saw as the youngster fired Petersfield into the lead to cap what was another impressive display....
