PETERSFIELD Triathlon Club (PTC) members enjoyed another successful weekend.

David Reid won the Haslemere Bumpy Triathlon on Sunday. The event comprised a 400m pool swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run.

Several members of the PTC team took part in the Chichester Lake Triathlon on Sunday.

Richard Roberts won his age category in the sprint distance, which consisted of a 750m swim, a 23km bike ride and a 5km run, and he was the 12th-placed male overall.

Jessica Oecken and Kate Parker took part in their first Olympic distance event at Chichester, which consisted of a 1,500m swim, a 38km bike ride and a 10km run.

Oecken was the eighth-placed female, while Parker finished in sixth place.

William Galvin won his age category over the Olympic course, and Tony Baker came third in his category.
