PETERSFIELD head coach James Alder was frustrated following his side’s 16-7 defeat at Weybridge Vandals on Saturday afternoon.

Alder said: “Weybridge had most of the territory and possession and deserved the win.

“However, I still believed we had it in us to come away with the win or, at the least, a losing bonus point.

“We had yet another changed line-up and, once again, I must give due credit to the players who stepped up for the challenge.

“Next week we have a very tricky home match versus Old Cranleighans, and we are hoping to have some of our regular players back very soon.

“I trust every player to work hard and put us back on track in the remaining games.”

Old Cranleighans are top of the London 3 South West table with 69 points from 15 matches, while Petersfield are in eighth place with 32 points from 15 matches.
