Petersfield Colts 33 Bognor Colts 19: BOGNOR travelled to Petersfield for a friendly having been the victors in a previous encounter on their home ground earlier in the season.

Field set about their business in an efficient and determined manner and had the best of the play in the opening ten minutes. Bognor then played to their strengths, utilising their large pack and slick backs to open their account.

Field competed well for the ball, but Bognor were well organised and scored again to end the half 12 points to the good.

In the second half Seaman opened the scoring for Field and Matthews added the conversion.

Field then worked the ball to the wing and Devlin cut inside, committing two defenders, and popped the ball to Heath to execute the try.

Field scored again down the middle of the park with a breakthrough move by Matthews.

Wilde, aided by Seaman, forced the ball over the line under the posts to push further ahead before Matthews added to his try tally.

Bognor scored a consolation try in the last minute, but Field still ended the match comfortable winners at 33-19.
