PETERSFIELD Rugby Club’s first team will be looking to continue their promotion push when they travel to tenth-placed Ellingham and Ringwood on Saturday for their next Hampshire Premiership challenge.
Field failed to put Ellingham and Ringwood away convincingly in the home game in November, eventually winning 37-20, and the past five encounters between the two sides have all been won by the home team.
This league fixture marks the start of a month-long hiatus for the first team which is ended by another away trip, this time to fifth-placed Bognor on March 28.
The extended break will give Field’s walking wounded a chance to recuperate before they tackle their final three games of the season.
