AFTER months of hard work over the off-season, Petersfield Rugby Football Club have unveiled the results of its extensive remodelling of the clubhouse to house its new and improved gym facilities.
Petersfield Town Mayor Jamie Matthews was on hand to cut the ribbon and declare the new facilities open.
Jamie was ably supported by Matthew Murray, the club’s new strength and conditioning coach, and a number of senior players.
The club has invested some £20,000 into both the building work and the new gym equipment and hopes the facilities will benefit the community at large and not just the general fitness and well-being of club members and players.
Ex-Navy physical training instructor Murray will be running the gym and will utilise the facility to offer group and personal training sessions, exercise therapy and diet and nutrition advice at the premises.
