PETERSFIELD head coach James Alder, who was unavoidably absent for the London 3 South West game at Old Tiffinians, has a difficult task on his hands to keep his players from descending into the doldrums after the first two winless months of the season.

Next up for the side today (Saturday) is another away match, this time against fellow league strugglers Trojans, who have won only one of their seven London 3 South West matches so far this season.

Trojans are currently in 11th place in the London 3 South West with eight points from seven matches, while Petersfield are bottom of the league in 12th place with three points after losing all seven of their league matches so far this season.

Last season Petersfield lost 50-24 away at Trojans, and they also slipped to defeat in the return fixture as they lost 17-14 against Trojans at Penns Place.
