Trojans Tigers 1 Petersfield under-16 Girls 2: ON A dismal day Petersfield under-16 girls headed to Southampton to face Trojans Tigers.

It was an even match with skilful play from both sides. In the first quarter the Petersfield girls made a strong attack, with much of the play being in Trojans’ half. Sinclair and Perry both had shots for Petersfield but were unable to make the breakthrough. Petersfield’s defence were reliable and quality goalkeeping from Clarke kept the Tigers at bay in the first half.

The Tigers were first on the scoresheet after 44 minutes, but Petersfield captain Sinclair then scored two good goals in quick succession to give the Petersfield the win.
