Petersfield Ladies III 6 Basingstoke Ladies V 1: PETERSFIELD Ladies’ third team started attacking from the off, winning a short corner which was excellently executed by Hulme to Greer, who shot at goal and scored.
For the next ten minutes Petersfield continued to attack, and their endeavours were rewarded with a goal from the centre forward L Beate.
The strength and speed of E Rymer and Hardwick hounded Basingstoke and Petersfield’s third goal came off the stick of Roberts.
At times Basingstoke got into Petersfield’s D, and a mistake gave Basingstoke a chance to score and make it 3-1.

The second half saw Petersfield continuing to attack and take full advantage of a tired Basingstoke team.
A goal from Conran and two goals from E Rymer sealed a magnificent 6-1 victory for Petersfield.
The win leaves Petersfield in fourth place in the Hampshire Division 6 table.
