PETERSFIELD Bowling and Snooker Club are celebrating after bringing the Midhurst and District Snooker League Division 1 snooker title back to the town.
The club missed out on the title last year, but managed to bring the silverware home this time around.
Captain Marc Lockley said: “It was tough last year after losing our title by the odd frame but to win it back this year is a credit to all our players.
“The team lost one of its best players, Terry Bradley, halfway through the season but the guys had a meeting, pulled together and a real commitment to extra practice sessions paid dividends as they won the league by an incredible margin.”
Petersfield Bowling and Snooker Club is thriving with four snooker teams entered into the league, and their A team also managed to pip Petersfield Social Club to take the runners-up spot in the very last game.
