South Newton v Steep
STEEP made the long journey into Wiltshire to face South Newton and returned with a deserved victory: the margin of three wickets not showing the dominance that the Harrowmen had shown.
Steep won the toss and decided to bowl first, and young opening bowlers Freddie Hughes-Stanton and Jack Campbell started well and made some early inroads into the South Newton batting.
Campbell in particular bowled with pace and accuracy and picked up two victims as the score reached a meagre 12-3 off eight overs....
