NEWMAN Collard Tennis Club in Liss is celebrating a number of successes on court.

Competing in the East Hampshire League during the winter of 2015, both the ladies’ A and B teams won their respective leagues, with the men’s team also winners in their division.

In the prestigious Hampshire and Isle of Wight League, the ladies’ A team won their division, which earned them a nomination for the East Hampshire District Council Sports Awards.

At the ceremony, which was held at Old Thorns Manor Hotel last Thursday, the ladies’ A team finished runners-up in the Senior Team of the Year category.

New members are always welcomed to this friendly club, which has three well-maintained courts. Two of those courts have floodlights.
