TRI-HIGH Multisports Club, the triathlon Club for Liphook and the surrounding area, hosted a Try a Tri for the Liphook Federation Junior and Primary Schools on Sunday.

Pupils, siblings, parents and staff took up one of the three Triathlon Challenges or shared the experience as part of a relay team. Executive headteacher of the two schools, Michele Frost, along with colleagues from both schools led from the front by taking part in the event themselves. The event was organised by the founder of Tri-High Multisports Club, Barnaby Gray, who is a Great Britain triathlete and coach, the young person’s co-ordinator for Triathlon England South Central and a race organiser and official. Barnaby has been developing the club over the last year and providing opportunities for children and adults in the local area and is thrilled with the support from the Federation Schools who have come on board.

Barnaby recently took an assembly for Liphook Junior School and made a presentation to Mrs Frost of a Tri-High Club Trisuit to celebrate the start of their involvement with Tri-High and the start of their multisport adventure.
