PETERSFIELD under-eights played their last game of tag-rugby at the Worthing festival on Sunday – they move up to contact next season.

Only a squad of 11 could be picked from the 40 or so available in the age group.

Chinnock scored first in Field's opening game against Haywards Heath with a try in the corner, only for the opposition to strike back quickly and take the lead. Field battled on valiantly but were unable to find the scores needed to regain the lead.

Against Chichester, Pitcher, Siggers, Kis and Duggan provided some forward momentum and Field scored some good team tries; Kis and Siggers showing their pace down the touch lines....
