The hosts took the lead when Sinclair went through on goal and swept the ball into the back of the net. An unmarked Winchester player then received the ball in the middle of the circle and placed it into the goal. Petersfield regained the lead when Ivy hit the ball into the goal.

Petersfield extended their advantage in the second half when Eddy passed the ball to Harris, who controlled the ball well and slammed it into the back of the goal. Petersfield were then awarded a penalty, which Sinclair converted into a goal. Winchester pulled a goal back just before the final whistle, as Petersfield won 4-2.
