A PRESSURE group turned back the clock 100 years when they held a coffee morning in High Street, Petersfield.
Members of the Solent Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) group dressed up as suffragettes for the awareness event in Winton House.
The group, which is jointly co-ordinated by Horndean resident Dr Carolyne Jacobs is fighting for the 3.5 million women born in the 1950s who may be adversely affected by changes to the state pension age.
“A hundred years ago, women were fighting for the vote,” said a spokeswomen, before adding: “And today some are still campaigning, but this time for a fair deal with their pensions.”
More than 100 people attended the event.
