A SECTION of the A3 closed by the Buriton slip road after a fatal accident reopened this morning at about 7am.
The crash happened around midnight on Thursday, September 15, on the southbound section of the road at the Buriton slip road near Petersfield.
Police said it was a fatal single-vehicle collision, and reports said that the vehicle had crossed the central reservation. The road was closed between the A272 and the A3M and diversions put in place.
Hampshire Police said just before 7am that the road had reopened in time for the rush hour this morning, Friday, September 16.
