WEST?Meon is renowned for its vibrant annual church fete, and visitors to the event today (Saturday) will not be disappointed by the range of activities and entertainment which villagers have been working hard to organise.
In the stunning grounds of West Meon House, the event will have all the trappings of a traditional village fete, with crowd-pleasing cream teas, jazz band and a Pimm’s tent.
Children will enjoy the bouncy castle and sideshows.
A great range of stalls will be on offer, with fares including cakes, plants, toys, household goods, preserves and bottles.
There will be plenty of refreshments to choose from too, including ice-creams for those looking to cool off, and hot dogs for the hungry.
The raffle has been supported by businesses, with prizes including meals in pubs and vouchers to spend in village shops.
Parking for the event, which starts at 2pm, is free.
Admission is £2.
