A CAFE that produced some of the most memorable catchphrases on British television will reopen this week at Petersfield Festival Hall.
Listen very carefully, we shall say this only once: the stage is set for Curtain Up productions to perform their version of ‘Allo ‘Allo.
The group that was formerly called the Denmead Operatic Society has been looking to reprise the wartime comedy set in occupied France, following a sell-out production in 2010.
Director Ian Clark believes the time is right to reunite the audience with cafe owner Rene, Officer Crabtree, Herr Flick and other favourites.
He said:?“It’s a fabulously funny ensemble piece.” Some of the original cast members had been brought back. The three-night run starts tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm, with a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets are £10-£12, and a pre-show French supper with wine is £8. Call 023 9225 3558 or visit the website www.curtainup-productions.com
