ANTIQUES experts Christina Trevanion and Timothy Medhurst will be visiting Bramshott Place retirement village to give free antiques valuations.
Christina and Timothy will visit from 10am to 2pm on October 31, to offer free valuations of antiques for residents of the village and visitors from the surrounding area.
Christina has appeared on the BBC antiques programmes Bargain Hunt, Flog It!, Antiques Road Trip and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, while Timothy is a regular on Antiques Road Trip.
They will open the event with a short talk about their experience of working with antiques and filming the BBC’s antiques programmes, giving some behind-the-scenes insight.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary refreshments while perusing and listening to the stories of the antiques which others have taken along.
Rebecca Parker, group events manager at Inspired Villages Group, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming Christina and Tim to Bramshott Place as part of Inspired Villages’ new series of events, the Grand Antiques Tour, which will tour the country.
“So many of us have curious items and antiques that we’ve inherited over the years, and we’re excited to see if we uncover any fascinating stories about the items the village residents and guests bring along.
“Hopefully, there might be some items that tell us more about the history of the local area or our country’s past.”
Places are limited and anyone interested should call 01428 787331 or visit www.inspiredantiques.co.uk to book places. An appointment time will be allocated on arrival.
Guests will also be able to explore the village’s grounds.
