A SPANISH film maker is asking Petersfield residents for memories and information about actor Sir Alec Guinness.
The famous actor lived in a house called Kettlebrook Meadows, between Sheet and Steep Marsh, until his death, aged 86 in 2000.
Born in 1914, his career spanned 62 years from 1934 to 1996, and included films such as Lawrence of Arabia, and Dr Zhivago, but he was best known for his role as Obi-wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars trilogy.
Film maker Juan Carlos Fauverty visited Petersfield twice last year, and plans to return this year.
He said: “I am starting a project about Sir Alec Guinness, and I would like to meet anyone who can tell me anything about him.”
