PETERSFIELD Town Council planning committee is due to meet on Tuesday, May 10, at 5.30pm in the council chamber in the Festival Hall, off Heath Road.

On the agenda for the meeting, open to the public, are applications to close the Flora Twort Gallery in Petersfield, owned by Petersfield Museum, and convert it into a house.

Museum trustees have also applied to convert Petersfield Police Station, which they hope to buy later this year, into a museum.

The planning committee doesn’t have the power to decide the applications, but is being asked to comment and give views on the applications.
