THE CREATIVE talent of the children who attend the After School Art Club at Petersfield Museum is being showcased in an exhibition there until tomorrow (Saturday).
This year the youngsters have explored a range of artists and techniques, including Art Nouveau, perspective and the work of Andy Warhol and others.
They have taken to craft too, and learned how to make their own paint.
The best of their work from the year will be on display in the Art Club Exhibition, open from 10am to 4pm.
“There is certainly something for everyone in this exhibition,” enthused the museum’s learning and community engagement officer Rosalind Norrell.
The museum’s art clubs are run during term time, on Mondays at 4pm to 5.30pm for children aged ten and over, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays for five to ten-year-olds, from 4pm to 5pm.
The cost is £7 for the older group, and £5 for the younger one.
