A CHARITY ball for a Petersfield boy suffering from a life threatening disease has raised more than £2,500.
It was aimed at raising money for 14-year-old Joe Rush of Borough Road who suffers from a muscles wasting disease that leaves the sufferer unable to move, and finally breathe unaided.
Thanks to the illness, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Joe is already permanently confined to a wheelchair.
Proceeds will help Joe buy equipment necessary for his treatment, said estate agent Janet Dickson, who organised the black tie event on Friday, November 4.
