There’s a big incentive for bargain hunters to visit Petersfield next weekend as the Giant Indoor Christmas Charity Market returns to Festival Hall next Saturday, December 6.

The traditional family-run event in aid of the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity Cancer Fund will feature 60 stalls offering everything from Christmas wreaths and candles to art, vintage jewellery and pottery

It’s also an important fundraiser for local charities with the Rosemary Foundation, Petersfield Musical Festival and Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre among stallholders.

Some of the cast from Winton Players will also pop by to promote their Jack and the Beanstalk panto with a bumper raffle being held in the foyer.

Traders and craftspeople from across the area will be setting up stalls in the main hall, on the stage and in the Rose Room.

A bumper raffle for the hospital charity is to be held in the foyer with bacon butties and refreshments also being served by the Stroud Evening WI.

Entry is free with the market open from 9.30am to 3pm. There will be a short opening ceremony by Petersfield Town Crier Faye Thompson with co-organiser and brothers Jeremy and Martin Holmes thankful for everyone’s support.
