Petersfield Museum’s extensive photographic archive holds more than 100,000 photos of life in the town and surrounding villages.
Dating as far back as the Victorian period, these photos represent all areas of life and act as a window into Petersfield in days gone by.
For many of our images we have little or no information except a few notes from the photographer. This photo comes with the notes ‘Police Football and Petersfield United circa 1966’.
We would love to know more about this picture so if you recognise anyone in the photo or remember it being taken we would love to hear from you.
Call 01730 262601, email [email protected] or visit us at 13 Dragon Street. We are always happy to hear from anyone who can help us gain more information about our collections.
