Changes are being made to Liss Post Office as the service is downsizing from its home of many years.
The current serving point at the back of the Tesco Express on Hill Brow Road will close for the last time at 12.30pm this Saturday, September 13.
But it’s not moving far as a serving point will open at the store’s retail counter at 9am on Monday, September 22.
The same range of Post Office services will be available with the counter open from 9am to 5.30pm every weekend and until 12.30pm on Saturdays.
Customers needing Post Office services have been encouraged to use their branches in either Rogate, Bordon or Petersfield during the relocation period.
Once the service is up and running Tesco will review customer privacy and queuing arrangements, with the move being part of a wider bid to transfer Post Office serving points to counter spaces.
