A NEWMAN Collard Tennis Club member is taking part in a charity skydive to raise funds for the Liss-based club.
Former Great Britain Davis Cup player Danny Sapsford, who is now managing director of Bright Ideas for Tennis, will be doing a tandem skydive at the North London Skydiving Centre in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, on Wednesday.
Jumping alongside Danny will be representatives from 12 tennis clubs from across the United Kingdom, including Ben Love from Newman Collard Tennis Club in Liss.
Ben will be jumping from a height of more than 10,000 feet then free-fall to 5,000 feet when a parachute will be deployed, slowing his fall and allowing him to relax and enjoy the Cambridge landscape.
