Police have allayed concerns in Liss after officers were seen running into the parish church last week.

Hampshire Police received reports of a man acting suspiciously on the site of a business premises on Farnham Road in West Liss last Friday (June 5).

The man, who left the area while the incident was being reported at 1.20pm, was intoxicated and acting suspiciously around vehicles according to witnesses.

Officers who parked on Station Road carried out a search of the area and spoke with the informant, with no offences being confirmed.
