CHURCHER’S College Junior School’s Year 4 pupils visited the Gilbert White Study Centre at Selborne for a field trip which formed part of their science studies.

The backdrop of Selborne Hanger was the perfect place to encourage outdoor learning in the young pupils from the Liphook school.

While there, they undertook activities relating to their science curriculum covering topics as diverse as food chains, environmental issues and animal adaptations.

Deputy headteacher Philipa Yugin-Power said: “Well done to both classes for behaving so beautifully, learning so enthusiastically and being a real credit to the school – whatever the weather.”
