DEVOTED Royalist David Weeks of Penns Road in Petersfield will be proudly wearing his new royal outfit at the D-Day commemoration in Portsmouth today (June 5).

He will be enthusiastically waving a union flag and cheering dignitaries such as the Queen, senior politicians and even the visiting American president Donald Trump.

David (pictured) is a colourful regular at royal events, but for this one felt it only right to splash out on a new specially-designed and tailored suit.

The former circus showman (78) said: “It will be a very special occasion. My new outfit was made by a trapeze artist friend and took weeks to make, as well as costing hundreds of pounds.”
