LISS Community Choir is looking for a new conductor from September, following the retirement of Margaret Gussman, who has run it since it began in 2011.
The successful applicant will need experience of singing, energy, imagination and a good sense of humour.
The post carries a modest sum of money.
The choir, which has 50 members, meets on Wednesday evenings in Liss Infant School and has three terms of ten sessions each year and a good piano accompanist.
It is a non-auditioned mixed choir, and performs two or three times a year, with a major concert in the summer which raises funds for local causes.
Repertoire has included songs from the shows, songs by the Beatles, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, as well as occasional classical pieces.
