A 70-YEAR-OLD cyclist was left with a broken knee following an accident in Petersfield where a motorist failed to stop.

A car and cyclist came into collision close to the Good Intent on College Street around 9pm last Wednesday, August 22.

The cyclist, who was riding an electric bike, also suffered a fractured wrist in the collision but the car failed to stop at the scene.

Officers investigating the collision would like to speak to anyone who was in the College Road area around the time.
