PARENTS and carers of disabled young people across East Hampshire are celebrating after respite care was saved from the axe.
A huge campaign waged against proposed cuts to Hampshire County Council's (HCC) Short Breaks budget has been successful.
And groups providing activities and care for children and young people with a range of disabilities – including the King's Arms Youth Project in Petersfield, and the Oaks Playscheme at Froxfield – have been granted funding for another year.
