PETERSFIELD residents with an interest in the history of the town, who enjoy walking, are invited to join a tour of the town called ‘Petersfield’s Markets and Shops, Then and Now’.

Organised by Petersfield Museum, the town walk on Sunday, October 15, leaves Petersfield Library in The Square at about 2.30pm.

Musuem Learning and Community Engagement Officer Ryan Watts said: “It starts in The Square and looks at how it has altered since its early days, before going along the High Street and beyond to explore how the shop fronts, buildings and local businesses have changed from Victorian times to the present day, and what has remained the same.”

Tickets for the walk are available on the day, or from the museum, and cost £4 for museum members and £5 for non-members, all welcome.
