One of East Hampshire’s most picturesque churches is holding its first fete for 12 years this weekend.

Villagers can help answer the fundraising prayers of All Saints by checking out East Meon Church Fete from 2pm to 4pm this Sunday, July 6.

Organisers have billed the fete as a “lovely traditional local community event” with cream teas, homemade cakes, old-fashioned games, live music and raffle among the many highlights.

Visitors can also expect numerous stalls, cottage industries, a tombola, children’s corner and treasure map during the afternoon event in Cross Keys garden.

Entry is £1 for people over 14 with all proceeds going to the continued care of All Saints church, with visitors encouraged to pay by cash.
