Ditcham Park School students celebrate GCSE success

PUPILS and staff have been celebrating a top set of GCSE results at Ditcham Park School.

A total of 41 per cent of all grades achieved were A* or A grades, including the new 7/8/9 grades for English and maths, and nearly a quarter of the year group achieved at least seven A* and A grades, including the new grades.

Headteacher Graham Spawforth said: “These are a very good set of results especially as this year group have been the first to sit the challenging new English and maths GCSEs.

“Congratulations to our pupils and our staff for their efforts. Pupils leave Ditcham Park with the qualifications, skills and self confidence to succeed in the next stage of their education at college or sixth form.”
