PETERSFIELD students enjoyed a flying visit from a Royal Air Force Chinook helicopter which landed on a school playing field.
It was flown by Flight Lieutenant Joel Babbage, whose brother, Kyle, is a teacher at The Petersfield School (TPS).
One TPS pupil, Aaron, said: “It landed in the middle of our playing field. I loved the tour of the Chinook – it was amazing.”
Flight Lieutenant Babbage then gave a talk in The Studio at TPS about RAF careers and answered questions.
Headteacher Mark Marande said: “A huge thank you to all of the crew for their time and enthusiasm.”
The event was part of the Inspiring the Future careers programme being staged by the school over the next year.
