SPRING was in full bloom at Empshott and Hawkley Horticultural Society’s Spring Flower Show.
The show took place at the Empshott Hut on Saturday afternoon and attracted plenty of entries.
Fred Potts won the challenge cup for the most points overall, and Liz Buckle won the rosette for the best entry in the show.
Empshott and Hawkley Horticultural Society Spring Flower Show Secretary Stella Savage said: “It was an excellent show this year held in the newly refurbished Empshott Hut.
“Following the recent clement weather we had a large number of entries in the daffodil and tulip classes. including many from people who had not previously entered.
“The judge was very pleased with the overall standard of entries for a small village show and provided many tips on how to present flowers to their best advantage.”
