A revealing talk about the creatures which live out of sight in the countryside will soon take place in a village south of Petersfield.

Andy Davidson of Hampshire County Council will give the talk about the Hidden Lives in Our Hedges, Gardens and Fields on Wednesday, February 18, in Buriton village hall.

Many of the countryside’s most important creatures live quietly out of sight but have remarkable stories, from sleeping through winter and transformation to flying, feeding and breathing.

Yet their lives connect closely with our own. Learn more during a relaxed, illustrated and eye-opening presentation which should be perfect for gardeners, walkers and anyone curious about nature.

The talk begins at 7.30pm, free entry with retiring collection.
