GORGEOUS glasswork by artist Heidi Robinson is being exhibited at the Flora Twort Gallery in Petersfield.

Entitled ’15 Years in the Making’ the exhibition, which runs until Saturday, November 5, this showcases beautiful pieces made by the fused glass technique.

“I discovered stained glass about 15 years ago after my mother sent me on a beginner’s course to get over the shock of having a baby,” explains Heidi. “One week later I was hooked.

“Then someone gave me a great deal on a used kiln, and the world of fusing opened up. The rest, as they say, is history.

“I love working with glass – the colours, textures and reflectivity make it a wonderful organic material, and I design pieces for the joy in seeing them come to life, often in ways more beautiful than I had imagined.

“I am fascinated by the colours and textures which allow plenty of experimentation, making each piece unique.”

The Flora Twort Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. An entry fee applies to adults, children go free.
