THE PUMPKIN Patch half term Hallowe’en fun and frolics was a great success, says organiser Sophie Davey.

Thanks to fine weather, a great selection of pumpkins, and lots of related fun activities, the patch team were run off their feet by youngsters and their parents out to enjoy spooky fun near Rogate during the half term break.

Sophie said: “It was very busy, mad.”

And Hallowe’en was also celebrated in Rams Walk shopping mall in Petersfield, where a spooky Day of the Dead fun day, based on the Mexican festival of the same name, took place.

There was entertainment from Anton Ghoul, a Hallowe’en fancy dress competition, and a Gurning competition.

A Rams Walk spokesman said: “Photos of the Gurning youngsters have been uploaded to Facebook. Find your photo, like and comment on it and share it with your friends. The two pictures with the most likes will win.”
