TWO VENUES near Petersfied will be suggested as suitable for fundraising events at the annual meeting of a farmers charity.
The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) raises money to help struggling farmers families and is planning a music event in a barn near Meonstoke on Saturday, July 2, and is preparing to host cream teas at the Lavender Farm, Selbourne on Monday, July 11.
Both fundraisers, plus others, will be discussed at the RABI annual meeting at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 24, in The Church Rooms, Colden Common, SO21 1TJ.
Also on the agenda will be the election of RABI officers for the coming year, the finances for the past year, and a national update on RABIs’ work.
Charity supporters and their families are invited to the meeting, and guests are welcome to attend. After it there will be a light supper for all.
