Firefighters from three counties have spent much of the afternoon dealing with a sizable grass fire between Liphook and Lynchmere.

A dozen vehicles were in attendance at the height of the blaze around 4pm near the junction of Devil’s Lane and Haslemere Road.

It is thought the blaze is under control with people being urged to avoid the area and nearby residents to keep their windows and doors closed.
