A LOCKET containing a photograph of a man believed to from the First World War was found by a shopper outside Lidl in Station Road, Petersfield, at about 2pm on January 11.

The small golden circular locket also contains a tiny white feather.

During the First World War, a white feather was given to men it was thought should have enlisted to fight, but hadn't, although there is no suggestion the feather in the locket was given to the man in uniform pictured for that reason....
