CELEBRITY gardener Joe Swift, well known to viewers of BBC’s Gardeners World, is coming to Petersfield.
The highly-regarded gardener will give a lecture on how his career blossomed, and what it’s really like gardening and presenting on TV, as part of the lecture series organised by bespoke conservatory company Alitex.
Bookings are now being taken for this event, on September 15, at Alitex’s showsite.
Joe has designed many gardens on television and appeared as co-presenter at the Royal Horticultural Society flower shows, including this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.

A regular on BBC2’s ever popular Gardeners’ World since 1998, he started his career landscaping while living in Australia.
He then studied garden design at The English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden while setting up his own landscaping company.
Other speakers in the Alitex lecture series have included TV?gardening colleague Alan Titchmarsh.
