Questions will be asked next week as Churcher’s College is hosting a quiz night in aid of a charity launched in memory of a rugby-loving student from Sheet.

Fundraisers have been urged to put on their thinking caps as the Ramshill college will hold its annual event in aid of Maddy’s Mark next Friday (October 10).

The charity was founded in memory of Maddy Lawrence, who was just 20 when she died in 2022 from sepsis two weeks after sustaining a rugby injury.

The good cause has brought hundreds of girls and young women into rugby since its launch.

Teams of eight or less are invited to take part with the quiz starting at 7pm for 7.30pm. There will be a paying bar and raffle but guests should bring their own food.
