THE ROYAL Senior School Chamber Choir was proud to sing at the Annual National Service for Seafarers at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
The service on Thursday, October 12, was attended by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne and a 1,000 strong congregation with seafaring connections.
The choir from the Haslemere school, which has pupils from Petersfield, Liss and Liphook among its students, enjoyed a picnic lunch in the cathedral garden before the service.
Upper Sixth students from the Royal School Leah and Kajol, said: "The Cathedral looked amazing; the impressive size of the building adding to its splendour. Singing in St Paul’s was an experience like no other. The acoustics of the building, along with singing in such a large group, made the sound resonate throughout the cathedral, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
